Nice job squirrelops...I had one come down early, took a poor shot and missed. They were squawking all morning, but I had a hard time spotting anything with the wind blowing.

Squirrels =1

Me = 0

I'll be out again on Wednesday or Thursday.

I had a busy weekend @ work, so I was nice to get out in the woods for a while to relax. I got one. Tried sitting a few spots but the squirrels seemed happy in the high foliage today.

Wife has been in the hospital, so I have not been out since opening day. Hopefully I'll get to pop a few bushy tails this Saturday. Gonna try out the new bow

Do you guys eat them fairy fiddles you kill aka pine squirrels. Never shot one because I herd they are not good to eat because off what they eat pine cones. I know if you eat a regular squirrel that's eating pine cones they fast awful.besides that their can't be much meat on them at all. Not to mention where I hunt you would get made fun of if you brought one of those in.
