Just kinda stumbeled across this place. Figured I' d let you guys know I' ll be making my first squirrel hunt of the year Saturday. Season opened today, but I have to wait til the weekend. Life is unfair

Hey B&H. I' ll be making my first trip to the squirrel woods next Saturday. That is the youth season...the real season starts the following Saturday. Then the next weekend is rabbit. And then the next weekend is turkey. What a lineup!! Good luck with the squirrels. Cook ' em up good!!!

Season starts here in NC about the 13th. I' m ready for the little tree rats. I got a Marlin mod. 60 last year and just put a Simons 22 mag 4x32 scope on it. Man that thing is a tack driver from about 40-45 yards. It' s grouping the size of a silver dollar at 50 and about 1" low. The little buggers are hating it.
