Default Which would be my best bet?

I am looking to buy a new .223 rifle that will be used generally for predator calling. The choices that I have narrowed down to are a Remington 700, Savage Edge, or a T/C Venture. What are your opinions?

wow. I am in the exact same position lol!! i have it narrowed down to those three rifles also but I think I'm going with a .243. I have done a ton of research, like hours upon hours and I am leaning towards the T/C Venture. If I do decide to go with the .223 then I am definitely getting the predator edition with the realtree max1 camo.

Proud owner of a Remington SPS DM in .243.

Still one of my favorites !!!

It's my "beater" now-a-days - which means I almost always bring it, no matter what.

75gr. Hornady V-Max for predators
95gr. Hornady SST for deer

Was going through the same thing. I liked the venture but found the axis. I decided to stay with my rem 700 mountain in 25/06. I may get a 223 still jus thave to find the right one. Good luck

................and I know they are all in .270, but might give you a few more ideas.

Speaking of ideas; this one is brand new from Ruger.

I like the looks of the American Sheridan, and for a good price..Definitely worth looking into and the CZ looks sharp as well, I own a CZ .22LR and love it!

I also agree on thinking You should check the CZ-USA Rifles out,as mentioned the 527 is a very nice Rifle,I have one in a .204 "Varmint" and its a very nice, accurate Rifle with the walnut stock and the trigger can be pushed forward for a lighter set-trigger!

That Remington VTR is one Sweet Rifle too...if its the one I'm thinking of with the V-shaped barrel?
