Default New to trapping

Hi, I am new to trapping and I would like to get some pointers like what traps to use and what's the best bait I am used to hunting big game and I live in michigan. Any info is appreciated.

Hey Deer toe,
You need to tell us what animals you plan to trap before we can give you any specific information. I grew up in southern Mich. and trapped Muskrats and mink - and some of the older guys I knew trapped a lot of red fox - but that was back in the 50's and there were no Yotes that far south.

I plan on trapping fox, fisher, yotes, & mink or beever
