I have been getting interested in Trapping and checking out youtube videos and ran accross this one.

Is this a common way to trap?

And what all can you trap using this method?

There are alot of different methods. That's a very common (basic) dirthole set. Used to catch Coyote, fox, bobcat, raccoons, opossum, skunk, etc. I think that was only a demonstration because a coyote/fox are very smart and the guy was touching everything barehanded(BIG MISTAKE) K9's have a very keen sense of smell!! Every trapper has his/her own method and this one may work for him (once or twice). He had the right gloves for the task but didn't use them. Trapping is a great time! Just try to have fun doing it and maybe come up with your own tricks/techniques! Good luck!
