Happy hunting. I prefer going as early as possible to beat the heat. And around here we don't hunt them, we already know where they are so we just go shoot them

We have places where we drive from one spot to another in a 15 square mile area. But we also spend time looking for other places. We wait until June so that the young ones can get big enough to come out.

We're going to start on them on Memorial weekend, and I'm guessing that the pups will be up by then.

Default South Dakota??

Hey SD guys,

Am looking at setting up my first prairie dog trip to SD. Was wondering if there were any spots that you know of where a couple guys could get on private land for not a lot of money?
