Default Meet Smokey the Coyote! pic

Gang,
I headed out for an afternoon and hunt and met the farmer who was burning some debris in a 55 gallon drum. As I set up, I could smell the fire as the wind was coming right to me. It smelled bad, but I'd come too far to go elsewhere, at that point. I fired up the Fury with some coyote pup distress and heard a howl in the distance. I fired back with a lone howl.
"No coyote is going to show up in this stench'" I thought to myself. All of a sudden I see a coyote coming to the call directly downwind of me and the "fire" stench. I fired my .223 at approx 150 yards for fear that the coyote may detect something.
It turned out to be a 40 pound female with a cool gray coat... Smokey the Coyote!
