coyotes hunt in illinois

this is my first time going coyote hunting and was wondering if there is any odd rules i should be aware of besides dont use slugs.....also my mother in law said they have a bounty on em has anyone else heard this or is she just bein nuts

I don't know about il but tn use to pay 50 bucks per female coyote shot but they quit years ago
