Default Using Air-Rifles

I have a Crosman G1-Extreme .177 cal Air rifle. It shoots about 1000 fps and i can hit game out to about 40 yards. It is very fun to use an knowing its a single shot makes you really take your time for that first shot. I use it for squirrel and dove. i have a .22 too but sometimes i take this out cause i have a real nice scope on it. Does anyone else use an air rifle?

I have a crosman storm xt and i just started using it for squirrels a couple weeks ago. I don't use a scope and i love the challenge it gives you. I managed to shoot a squirrel 70 yards away with it the other day. Very fun!

I have a Gamo Varmint Hunter. I think it gets 1200 FPS. It came with a scope that had a laser and flashlight. The scope wasn't that great so I put a nicer one on it and put the attachments on the new scope.

The luckiest shot I've ever pulled off with it was no scoping (it's a video game thing lol) a dove in a tree at 150 yards. 100% luck though. Didn't even know which limb it was in just knew it was in that tree lol. Other than that I've shot a squirrel jumping between trees.

I have a gamo varmit hunter that shoots 1000fps with lead pellets which is all I shoot. I have shot squirrels up to 40 yards and it drops them in there tracks. It will kill a racoon and oposum with a head shot. I shot a few that were in cage traps. And it works good on rabbits with head shots.

I believe the gist of Master Chief's story. OK, maybe he didn't step off the exact yardage, but his main point was that he took a near impossible shot and, as he says, got lucky. Hey, take enough shots and some crazy things are going to happen.

I hunt squirrels with my Benjamin 392 and a peep sight and I must say that I get as much a thrill out of popping squirrels with that (out to about 25 yards) as I do rifle and shotgun hunting at longer distances. I would hunt rabbit too but the Coyotes pretty much cleaned them out a few years ago.

Im a avid airgun hunter. The lure of airguns for small game is it the same as archery hunting deer. Its difficult and takes practice at close range. I have a crossman quest and have shot turtles at 110 yards
