My new foxpro will have some raccoon sounds on it and I was wondering if anyone calls for them? do you go out during the day or at night? Thanks for the info. I'm looking at getting into it some to help pass the lull between deer seasons.

I don't target coons much, but I have been out calling them a couple of times, during the day both times. The key is to know where they are denned at, get close without alerting them to your presence, and turn on the call and be ready.
We used coon fighting sounds on the Foxpro FX5 to call them and it worked quite well.
