Default Scopes for yotes

I have a .35cal with a bushnell banner 3-9x and im wondering what would you think is a reasonably priced, good scope for yotes that will work real well with that gun. im willing to spend up to like $250 at MAX $250. im more interested in about the $200 range.

The furthest ill be reaching out will be at max 300 yards... if that. I hunt upstate NY catskills region and most of the yotes will come in nice and close. but sometimes ill be shooting at 250.

The Coyote Hunter By Nikon should do the trick.
Dont know if that is in your price range though.

nothing wrong with the one you got,a 3x9 is plenty unless you are planning on shooting them way out, most coyotes I kill while calling are within shotgun range some are 70 to a 100 yards out but most are nearly in your lap if you are calling with a mouth call.I have killed more with my scope on 4 power than on 12 but a 4x12 or 4x16 would work good and maybe even bigger if you ground hog hunt with it or something.I have shot them over 300 yards away with my 243 rifle while deer hunting and its just wearing a 3x9 leupold ....

I'm a firm believer in low power scopes for both varmint and big game guns.Your 3-9 will work fine but I'd keep it turned down. You never know how close one might be when you start calling. You can always turn it up if need be.Good luck!

The 3x9 that you're currently using will do just fine for you.

As far as the Nikon coyote hunter scope, just another gimick. Stick with crosshairs and you'll be better off.

Use what you have (works fine for yote in tight cover), continued to save your money and one day buy yourself some good glass.

You'll be happy you did, when the time comes..........................
