Default Black Squirrel for BHW

Gang,

I've shot over 1200 gray squirrels and never even seen a black squirrel while hunting. That all changed on this faithful hunt...

congrats on the mellanistic grey, haven't saw one for 20 years, see a black fox squirrel here in wv now and then.

You should try around Lakeville area Andrew it's mostly black squirells.

Tons of the black squirrels in Ludington, MI. Interesteng to see somewhat rare animals like that

Right on Conesus lake,between there and Hemlock black squirrels are common for some reason.Lots of state land too.

congratulations, that looks like the makings of a wonderful stew. Around here, blacky's are quite common. Though I never seem to see them when I'm out hunting.
