Well we finally made it out for our first gopher shoot of the year after waiting for the rain to stop. It`s been a really wet summer.
Anyways, the three of us managed to shoot about 300 gophers using anything from .22, .22mag, 17HMR, .223, 12ga, and a .243. Was a great day. The joke of the day was my buds calling for "Artillery"(my .243) when the longer shots were needed. Going out again in a few weeks.
We rounded up a few for pics and left the rest which were pretty well cannibalized. The farmer who`s land we shoot on only wants us to bring a bucket full for his barn cats.
