I have heard people have been able to call them in using a distressed rabbit call or other distressed animal call. I have never called in one myself. Not sure if baiting them is legal where you live or not but i'm guessing it is like most states and not being able to use bait.

well actually ive been in contact with the ODFW and it is legal to use bait in Oregon. im trying to figure out what my best bet would be, so a distressed animal call would be a good route to go to your knowledge?
I had a buddy who was set-up for coyotes have a cougar come in on him.
He got a picture of him on his cell phone he was so close.
Distress calls bring in any hungry predator !
