Default DIY bear mountain lion hunt spring

I am a college student at Texas Tech in Lubbock. I am looking to go hunting somewhere for spring break "March" for a hunt. I am wanting a bear or mountain lion. I like to varmint call and thought I would try that way but also planned on spot and stalk hunting. I went in Idaho in Unit 39 about 4 years ago and loved it. I camped in the mountains with my friends for 2 weeks. We shot a black bear "By fluke chance" but I am looking for a place that is known for lots of animals size doesnt really matter. I would like to find a place that a non hunter can buy licenses over the counter along with tags. I would also be willing to go with anyone who is wanting a partner. Any tips or advice would be awesome. Oh and I have been hunting since I could walk just so yall know I am not one of those beginner hunters I can handle my own if anyone wants a hunting partner.
