If it's predators like all the freaking yotes around here, you want bait, like a big gut pile or animal carcasses. As far as small game animals like squirrels, maybe some kind of lure??? Do they make squirrel in hear???????? lol

If you are talking coyotes I prefer lure. I don't use much bait. Depends on your population of predators and how much they have been trapped. Coyotes out here are wise to dirtholes. Flat sets and blind sets work much better. I don't use bait at my flat sets so not really a big fan of bait.
