I'm in SoCal and don't see many fox.


I do shoot plenty of yotes though.

The .17 doesn't do much damage to the pelt, but 3000 fps does a number on their insides.
I do believe they were a breeding pair, I think the male was looking for the female I shot first, he yipped just after dusk and gave his position up, I started calling & in he came.

nice pair of reds, and nice rifle (I have one exactly like it in LH) but they're not 3000 fps, 2550 fps with 17 gr ammo, what bullet ya use?
