Anyone use 22 maxi mags for yotes for shots under 100 yards. Ive never hunted yotes before so before i go trying to get the okay from mrs shedman to purchase gear for a new hobby i want to be sure the hobby is for me.

HAHA...ask permission!! Poor married men ....anyhow, ive used em plenty and there pretty good. Ive killed prolly 5 yotes under 100yds with maxi mags and have had 0 problems. Ive sitched to the maxi mag tnt and love those also. Heck any cci bullet in either 22lr 22mag or 17hmr I believe will dispatch a varmit alright.
for yote hunting you'd be better off with a heavier bullet, I am required to use a rimfire at night, so I use the 22 WMR with federal 50 gr hp's, its all I shoot in a 22 mag anymore.
