Default Any One Ever Done This ?

Has any one ever shoot off a squirrels tail?

I did the pst saterday.
I shoot at a squirrel, and thought I missed.
Then got another shoot at it.
This time the bullet hit the squirrel.
I saw it do the clasic grab on, and drop.
Whan I picked it up, its tail have been shot off.

Thats the weirdest thing I have ever done.

I did it a couple of years ago while practicing in the yard. I had an arrow with a g5 sgh laying in my bow case. I forgot it hit a little to the right from my field tips and it cut that little tree rats tail off about 2 inches from the body. I still see him around every once in awhile. Pretty easy to identify, there isnt that many bob tail tree rats running around.

Not a squirrel but I did shoot the tail off of a coyote with my bow once from a treestand. Facing straight on, my yardage was slightly off....

Ha! I barked a squirrel once and stunned em, thought he was dead and went to pick him up, long story short I now poke "dead" squirrels with my toe or gun barrel now

Default Got Bit

I guess you got bit didn't you? lol
I did the same thing with my very first squirrel. I reacted too fast and grabbed him up and carry the scar to this day. That was 46 years ago.
