I would say a live trap and bait.
Just spray the trap with scent away real good.
And add the bait.

Good Luck

I have had the best luck using Duke 1 3/4 traps and making a dirt hole set. Set the trap close to the hole and for bait just experiminet. I have caught them on home made stuff and boughten. Dobbs Purrrfect works really well. Caught a big male on coyote gland and red fox urine last year too.

i use 1 3/4 and #2s mostly in blind sets. find trails along creeks, thru high grass, etc. also try roads that run the tops of hardwood ridges. dirtholes and cubbys baited with beaver meat and use a little of Slims GHIII lure. biggest tip is set on sign. cant catch a cat that ain't there.
