Default Pigeon Hunting....

I have hunting pigeons over decoys for years... just a tad over twenty years... but yesterday I was fortunate to hunt over some decoys that I stumbled apon.... I know alot of guys shoot pigeons, but how many of you decoy them... That is were the game is at... No limits, No Rules, just alot of trigger time...

Shot 53 birds in 45 minutes over the decoys in the morning in a cut winter wheat feild... Talk about fun... It makes duck hunting look boring...

has anyone else ever done this, and have you guys heard of "Soar No More" decoys...

Mike

Default Pigeon hunting over decoys... Picts

I'm telling you... I have hunted them over decoys for years.. all homemade... these are the ticket.. Where else can you shoot almost 100 birds, with for $15.00 worth of shells... train the dog until he is completely wore out... and dont have to clean a one of them... with a pretty good chance of shooting bands....

Thats what Im talking about...

Default ilyote... There are good heathy flocks everywhere..

You just have to do some legwork just like goose hunting.... and those bands we speak of... funny you should ask.. I killed 39 birds this afternoon in about a hour shoot... and killed a bird with a band that had a guys name on it, and $30 reward... I bet he needed the bird alive though...
