Default predator hunting in new york state

I'm new to predator hunting, I was wondering what type of shot whould you use in a 12 gauge shotgun, and is a rimfire .22 strong enough to knock down a bobcat, fox, raccoon, and coyote? Also, where in new york state are some good predator hunting places, public. I have property in deleware county, near the town of han****, the fishs eddy exit on I-88. We have bobcat, 2 have been shot by a family member while deer hunting, in the last 15 years. If I was to use a manual call what type should I use? I'm also very curious about foxes, I really want to shot those in particular. If you are familiar with that area, are fox plentiful, we have seen some in the fields across the highway, below the mountain, by the Deleware river. Lastly, if anybody has tips on raccoon hunting in the day, that would be helpful. Thank you and good luck to all hunters this season!

Joe if you use a shotgun you are going to tear up the pelts (full choke w/ BB - Max 30 yards).

If you use your .22, put the shot right behind the ear (range - you tell me, how far to hit there everytime).

Ok well I think we will use the shotgun on coyotes, don't really care for them much. I'm a good shot my .22 can hit a crow out to 100 yards no problem.

Default Plentiful Enough!!!!

The fox here in the next county to your west seem to be very plentiful. So I'm sure that goes for your area too.I also use a shotgun for fox&yotes'. There's no open season for bobcat here.Though I've never personally encountered one, they have been seen.I'm gonna try some 3 inch Dead Coyote shot. I have had some luck with sitting over fresh bait (rabbit fur). Good Luck!!

I'm over the hill in Roscoe. We have no fox where I am but coyotes are plentiful & we have a huntable amount of bobcats. I wouldn't use a shotgun if you want the pelts. I use a 257 Roberts and a 45 cal muzzleloader on the yotes.
