Default Vmax bullets on coyote pelt

So just out of curiosity how bad are the vmax's on coyote pelts out of a .223 or .22-250, I was wanting to really get into it and start keeping the pelts, whenever I shoot them now I just use my deer rifle for extra practice during the season to sharpen the skills, nut anyways any advice wouyld be great thanks!

sometimes you get massive holes sometimes tiny entrance and no exit. it depends on where the hit is how far the shot is ect.. lot of variables. i use sierra blitzkings now and have had better luck with smaller holes.

I second the Sierra bullets for less damage but I prefer the Speer "TNT" bullets, they are not a pelt bullet as they usually rip them wide open.
