Default Baiting squirrels and raccoons?

What is best to bait in squirrels and raccoons?

A particular snack for each one? I Know raccoons aren't too picky.

I just want to bait some in, they are pests around here, just when I'm not busy, I go out to shoot em, and they're never around.

Thanks guys

If it is legal where you are.
You can't beat corn.
They both love it, if you have some peacons squirrels love them.

But Make Sure It Is Legal First.

Well, I'm sure it's legal, because where I live, if the gun is loaded, it's legal. LOL.

I also heard peanut butter will make squirrels go crazy.

Ok so enough about Squirrels, how about Raccoons?

You can get a nail(about 2 1/2 or 3 1/2),cut the head off the nail, drive it about half way into a stump, fallen tree ,etc.put a ear of corn on it,after a couple of days you'll have to put another ear of corn on it!It works!

It is illegal to shoot small game over bait in Michigan. I must stop feeding squirrels ear corn for at least 10 days before they are considered to be not baited.
