Default Red fox in Alabama?

Is there red or gray fox in NE AL.?Cause I've never seen one. thanks

They both reside in Al. There could be various reasons for never seeing one. Coyotes really hurt fox pop. also just because you have never seen one doesn't mean they aren't there. The red fox is usually more night time oriented where human encrochment has infringed upon there habitat. Also changes in farming practices have changed some vital food sources for both species. They are both there but in viable numbers near you, who knows?
