Default Got a Coyote

Thought I would share a picture of a coyote I took last Saturday. Shot her with Hevi-13 3" 2oz #6's at 22 yards. She weighed 39.25lbs.......maybe a little bit of that weight was due to all the water!

Nice! I hope to get one soon. The place we go is a gold mine for coyotes. We just need to learn to outsmart the bastards and with a little luck we should start droppin em.

Were you out turkey hunting? Opening morning I was sitting under a den tree and a coon wanted enter the hole that was 6" away from my head. I scared it off, next thing I know a coyote comes out of no-where and grabs it, awesome morning!

Yup! Got her the last day of turkey season. I was moving to a new spot to begin calling when I saw a deer trot up the mountain about 30 yards from me. Then out of some briars, and tall weeds she steps out intently staring at the deer......so I shot her.
