RE: when is the best time to hunt
Before. Everyone of them is searching for food. If the weather change is more than a day or so they will be forced out in it for the next meal. So they may or may not have a full belly afterwards. They definitely want a full belly before to get them through. If they are not succesful they will be out after, but come will be fat and happy and not as worried about the next meal as others. Before all are worried about the next meal as a survival instinct IMHO.
