hi guys.great to finally be apart of the group.have you guys had any luck with the 22magnum on fox and coyoties/if so yht grain/yards was it shot.post pics if you can please.

umm i cant give you any info because thats to small for me i dont think ill every go that law of a caliber for yotes but i did year the they work pretty good so good luck if you go hunting with it

For fox, a .22mag or .17hmr is would be ideal out to 100yds or so. Coyotes, under 100 it can be done. but shot placement is of utmost importance. you will have to pass on a lot of dogs as you wont always have a decent shot.

for fox i use hornady 30 grain v-max. but remember every load shoots different. and every gun likes something different. Now do not use the mag for coyotes that is unrealistic. i hunt for fur and i use my 223 AI and a 204 ruger.

I shoot foxes with my 22 mag no problem. I used 30 grain Federal Premium Speer TNT Hallow Points the other day. I normally use 33 grain Remington Accu-Tip's but I need to buy some more.

CCI makes pretty much the same thing Remington does it's just called a Poly-tip V-Max and their's is 3 grains lighter.
