Default 22 mag for the bunny???

Hey i just recently got a 22 mag and got it sighted in with my 30gr V-MAXs. Its still rabbit season and i wanted to know what theyd do on them? I shot a feral cat with them and they did no damage to him or is insides

I definitly would not recommend it for anything other than a head shot. Rabbits are very fragile, it would do a number on the body. Shoot one in the head and you'll understand when you see the damage.

Go for the head. That's about the only shot I'll even try on rabbits with a 22lr. It's nice to at least have something left of it.

Even a 40 gr mag win solid is a little rough on rabbits when body shot. Varmint bullets aren't meant to be used for hunting edible meat. They pretty much explode. Riddling the carcass with lead and copper, in a staight line from impact area. I just like the old lr for edible game myself.
