Default squrriels

ive been out at least 4 times a weekand have not seen a single gray squrriel but ive seen at least 10 red ones but never any gray i dont know wat happen to them all i seen lots in deer season where i hunting for them now and now nothing but in the early season i shot several and so do you have any tips on wat i can do more i just walk in quietly as i can and sit for a while and wait

Yeah it seems when ever you sit and wait the forest lights up with squrriel chatter. After you can pinpoint there location from the noise you can slowly stalk them, thats is my most productive way.

Don't hunt near where you see the reds. Reds hate grays and will chase them away. Try another spot.
