One of our buyers in kansas will not even buy oppossum, the other will give $1.00 for large silvers only.

What do they do with possum fur anyway?

Maybe they ship it overseas where it is given an exotic name and marketed as a luxury item. They did that with skunk fur back in the 20s and soon folks were paying big bucks for its fur to make coats. But then they made them start using the real name and the market dropped way off.

I went and sold my coons and deer hide at lunch today.,I got $6.00 avg on 10 coons and $4.00 each for deer hide. No oppossum buyers today.
