do you think the .308 is over powerd for coyote ?

if your hunting for the furs yes so then like a 243 would do nice or something like that I don't hunt for furs i use 270 WIN

our group uses a 308 when we cant get him in close, say 250yds and over. it puts him down.

a 308 is a good choice for coyote, unless you want the furs but other than that it will be a great gun to use to go hunting with

.308 will work just fine. If you reload, 125 grain TNTs are nice!
