Default Fur economy stopped?

I heard that there not buyin fur right now? anyone else

The last I heard, they were still buying fur in western Ohio. Just a few days ago, my sister's boyfriend in Illinois was quoted 8-10 as top dollar for coons. So, i assume that they are still buying fur there.

There still buying in ILL and MO. I just sold 500 coons, got a 5.00 average..Opposums-1.00..
Mink 10.00, fox 10.00, coyotes- they dont want..skunks- 1.00.. In Missouri cats are 25.00- 50.00ea.. Its not good but they are buying..

A $5 average sounds about right considering you might get 10 bucks for a top dollar coon and you will only get a couple bucks or less for anything below a large or X-large.

I hauled 17 more coyotes to the fur buyer last Wednesday. Of those, only one didn't get bought and got $10 for 13 of them and $6. for 3 of them.
