Default 1st Coyote

Well I got my first Coyote. Not the nicest one Ive seen around here but a first is a first. I hit him at 80 yards with my russian sks. then tracked him about 200 yards and finished him at 3 yards. He couldnt get over a wall and layed down and just looked at me so I moved in very close for a quick finish.

I don't know midnight, looks like a nice tail. That's a pretty good sign of a nice healthy dog. Good job!

Thanks everyone. I still have alot to learn as far as skinning one out correctly. I got most of the head skinned but messed up one of the ears. I also need to get a tool for the tail. That didn't work out as nicely as I hoped. I kind of gave up on triing to make a perfect skin because there was an old wound down to bone on one of the hind legs and my 2 shot kill left a few big holes. Im going to finish fleshing it, salt it then tan all my hides in the spring when it warms up
