Default RE: Bait piles for yotes?

Make sure your allowed to place traps near it. In Pa we are not allowed to set traps near bait that is visible from the air. But we can set them back 50 ft on trails running to the gut pile. If your allowed to set by gut pile, then place 3 traps in a triangle around it but far enough away (about 4 feet from each other)if you hook up with a critter it wont set the other traps off and maybe catch a double at that site. If your not allowed to,then look for the trails comming to it and set there. Cable restraints are not allowed to be used till after christmas here. But that would be another option on the trail sets if allowed.

You got a chance to catch anything fromcrows to yotes on that gut pile. Everything will visit it.
