don't know what kind of tips you're looking for. they're pretty basic critters, and not too difficult to hunt. you can try a squirrel call, you really don't need one.

just go out where you know there are some white oak tree's or hickory's (or a field), anywhere there is food. sit down, conceal yourself, and watch.

sorry to be vague, but is there something specific you are looking for?

It would probably be easier for you to look it up on google and/or some other search engine than for 1 of us to explain it to you.

As far as squirrel hunting tips,
1.camoflauge(obviously)
2.I always step into the woods and listen, you might hear one barking, moving, etc.
3.keep a sharp eye out and you will see them move
4. if you move do it SLOWLY and I mean SLOWLY!It's really good practice for deer hunting.
5.if you shoot 1 don't walk over and pick it up immediately cause a lot of the times where there is 1 there is more.
6.if you go in the evening pay attention to where they are cause you might find their den tree(home).
7.if you spook 1 just wait chances are he/she will run up a tree and stop to see what and whereyou are and then you can get the shot.
8.learn all you can by watching them don't kill the first 1 you see watch him/her and see what they are doing so you can plan the rest of your hunt accordingly.
9.the most important thing is HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE,it is a trial and error kinda thing learn from your mistakes as well as your succeses.
10.post pictures so all your friends here can celebrate your success.

just go to the woods and sit against the base of a big tree and watch and listen for a while and if there are any squirrels within sight you will probably see them or here them before long, they are very active little critters that dont sit still for very long unless they are eating a nut and then you can here a grinding sound of their teeth cuttin the hull open.look for leaf nest this will tell you there are squirrels near, they have probably abandoned these leaf nest for the security of a hollow tree but they usually dont go far.as for oak and hickory trees and wanut trees, just look for nuts and acorns and hulls on the ground and you have found squirrel food.good luck and enjoy the outdoors.
