Default Nite Lite Tracker 6 volt Coon Light??? Any good??

Is this light any good, I'm just looking for a good starter headlamp and I know nite lite is a good company. Any suggestion for a headlamp under $100

Great light! Had one when I was a little guy coon hunting with my dad and grandpa. If I'm not mistaken they used to call them Kitten Cooner's. They will hold a good charge for a few hours as long as you don't do a lot of shining and turn them way down while your walking.

Does this particular lite....the Tracker....have an adjustable beam?? I don't think that it does...the kitten kooner does I believe.

Yes it does. It doesn't have the typical knob on the side of the lamp that you turn to adjust. You have to turn the face plate on the lamp to get it to adjust. What are you going to be using this light for?

To me it would be worth the other $20 to get the kitten cooner.

I wouldnt own one.....but thats coming from an ex coonhunter who was snobby about his equipment and used a 28V Bright Eye Annihlator....$365 lol........would litterally cook a bug on it.

That said....I rarely used it full on unless it was winter time and I couldnt get one to look at a dim red or amber lense.

That also said.....I started with a night light but man was it heavy and the burn time poor.

I must not have said that I am a beginner.....and will likely upgrade, but for now was wondering if this nite lite tracker will serve its purpose. Any more reviews or suggestions??
