Default possibly trap injury?


i should have taken a better pic but im thinkin he might have been in a trap? that sore or scar wraps all the way around the leg-paw.

Yip, a good guess. I once called and killed a coyote that had the reminants of a snare around her neck. She had chewed through it and it had grown into her skin and was badly infected. They are tough critters for sure.
Called and killed a 2 good legged coyote once too. Had all four legs, but it was evident do to the long hair between the pads onthe one foot that it rarely even touched the ground, and it was missing one foot completely. Theone bad leg that still had afoot,looked as ifit had been broken at one point. A guy wouldn't think they could live long like that, but that coyote wasn't skinny!!
