Default RE: crow hunting

When I was a kid, we just used our mouths to call. A friend taught me...and it's pretty easy. We used to call them when the squirrel hunting was slow, and we killed a lot.

Later, I bought an electronic call and you had better have your gun loaded when you turn it on. We never let the first one go...but he is known as the sentinel. He acts as sort of a lookout for the murder.

It's a blast, and they really have no other population control. Just make sure to hide well, because they can see pretty darn well.

get hid well, decoys help, at least a mouth call, and some high brass 6's in case you need to reach out . i have also heard that about letting the first one go by but i usually shoot the firstcrowif there are enough in the distance because it seems like they see that crow going down and really come in just keep the call goin. another tip if you use an owl decoy with crow decoys keep the crow decoys above the owl. crow hunting is another addiction
