i am so pumped for rabbit season, my beagle and i were walkin in the woods, she picked up a scent trail and a little later she ran her first rabbit

That's awesome!!! I'm going to be getting my first beagle as soon as the grass takes in our yard (I had to make a deal with the boss). I have always been a big bird hunter and dabbled in coon, and bear with dogs but am pretty pumped to get a "little hound." Is your beagle a pup or a professional rabbit runner?
