Thanks for the compliments! In Illinois, during the firearm/muzzleloader season for deer, the coyote season closes, that is unless you have a deer permit in your possession, then you can still hunt coyotes!

4 Buck...... Yes, you can hunt coyotes year round in Illinois. The only time it closes is during the firearm deer seasons, that is unless you hold a deer permit, then you can still hunt them!

Hey WTcrazy what part of Illinois do you hunt? I"m up north, and kill alot of dogs most years. I just wish we could hunt them at night year round like alot of states can.

Hunt in East Central Illinois....... How did you do,,,, this past year? Can't believe I haven't shot 1 during the past turkey season, they usually come good to turkey calls!
