Default Question about the dnr.

You' ns think the dnr would be helpful in giving information on area farmers and such having problems with coyotes? Or where they are concentrated in the area?

That would be a good starting point.

what you need to ask them is where do they get the most complaints from.in areas of high predator populations there generaly will be alot of complaints filed at the dnr.and they in most cases(if hunting is legal in that area)are eager to give info to any one who might be able drop the number of complaints.

start asking farmers ,majority will let you coyote hunt at least around here they will.We have some people that run them with dogs but they dont shoot them and when the farmers found out they said shoot them or they are not allowed on their property any more

Thanks. I could use a good bit of encouragement when trying to get permission from landowners. It just doesn' t seem like they' d be cool with it. It' s sure worth a try though.
