Tree Climber,
I think Iv'e seen you on another forum-maybe not,but either way,you did better than I did. My count was 1 gray fox,1 coon,2 dogs,1 possum, and 1 cat.Trapping season ended Feb.1,so I pulled my traps.I didn't get started until after New year and this was my first year trapping.I v'e learned alot and plan to do better next year.Trapping is fun!Kill all those damn cats you can!
I don' t have a lease myself, but i' ve helped a trapper this season with nutria. There is a bounty on them in louisiana and they are giving 4 dollars per tail and 1 dollar and 50 cents for the hide. Averaging about 300 per week with the occassional coon and beaver.
Just getting back into trapping after about 15 years. My how things have changed. Didn' t spend much time trapping (interferred with archery) but ended with 3 red fox, 6 rats and a mink. Have 3 beaver and will set another area tomorrow to try and reduce them for the owner.
