just skinned a friends coyote and the belly area on the inside of the hide and the belly meat were a neon green color any idea what this is? and is it still a good hide?
Doubt it is still good. Will probably slip the hair on the green area. It was rotten. Coyotes and foxes will do that pretty fast, they are best skinned quick.
Bellies will turn green on them even in a freezer.
