Default Hurting the bobcat population

I was wondering if anybody knew anything about the impact hunting has on the bobcat population. The reason I ask is I have a couple of buddies that do a lot of trapping, mostly bobcat. Last year they trapped on their 400 acre farm and took 13 cats off the place. I know that this wouldnt even put a dent in the coyote population but I wonder how much impact it has on the bobcats. Can they easily recover from something like this?

Default RE: Hurting the bobcat population

I'm not really sure what it would do, but in my opinion there are prolly just as many bobcats around as there are coyotes. If bobcats breed anything like house cats then it wouldn't hurt them at all. I don't know tho
