ILLINOIS COYOTE HUNTING REGS ????

[ILL hunter]

I see alot of coyotes while bow hunting whitetail in Kane county IL.
{NO FIRE ARM SEASON } have shot at a few unsuccessfully.
I would like to send quite a few to their maker
I THINK THEIR REALLY MESSING UP MY DEER HUNTING

MY only problem is after reading thru IL. REGS there is no clear
answer on how to shoot them with a gun after gun season

ANY ONE OUT THERE HAVE AN ANSWER ? ANY ILLINOIS COYOTE GUN HUNTERS OUT THERE ?????

you can ask 10 hunters about a game law and somtimes get 10 different versions on what the law is.the safest thing for you to do is call a game warden or go to his office and ask him.after all he is the one that will write you the sitation if he finds you in violation.

Here is how I percieve the regs.

You can use just about any gun or bow you want. The only time you can't use a gun is during slug season if you don't have a slug tag. The season is open year round. But with no firearm season in your county, I don't know how that would work.

But like coyoteseeker said, contact your local officer and have a little chit chat.
