Default Need some help with cyotees

My friend and I have gone out hunting 4 or 5 times a year the last 3 years and nothing. Wh have an elcetronic call and have hunted over rabits and deer. NOTHING!
When is the best time of day to hunt? Best way to call? Bait? moon phase? type of gun?

I know I have a lot of questions but I have no idea what im doing wrong. There are plenty yotes on my farm, my uncle and i was 7 opening day of deerseason, he shot 2 of them. and we have seen 9 more walking around the farm.

Please help, what do i need to do?

I like late early morning to after lunch. 8-9 a.m. to 1-2 p.m.. Finding a good place to hide and a good way to get there without being seen is the real key. Don't drive to where you will call. I haven't had much luck lately calling around full moons, but who knows if that is really the problem. Get out more! 4-5 times a month will get you something.

You want to be out there by first light if you can..How are you hunting them?
Calling or just hoping to get lucky and see one..And then be out again say from
4 PM till dark...

MD---In answer to your question as to why we put the coyote in the truck...

We hunt an area where there are a lot of sheep and if you get one the farms
offer a 25 dollar bounty,if you prove you got one..They take them and bury
them in a stone quarry...Helps to pay for the gas[8D]

We then spray the truck with a fix of water and clorex.......I can understand
you comment as to why..But,now you know....Johnny

To ZMS---This is just a thought now....Maybe you guys a trying the same area too
much and they are wise to you now..Sometime you can make to much of a good
thing..Try calling in a different area..And be sure you are hidden good..Don't
call to load...Or too long..Do you have a mouse squeeker or something like
that as well..Good luck and don't quit yet....
