Default Coyote Loads ???

Right now i'm using in my 223 a 55 gr FMJ only because I want to see what it will do, My last load was a 50 gr Nosler ballistic tip and it did some serious damage. Soon I'll be loading my own and would like to get some (not just opinions) but facts about loads people have already used on coyotes and what kind of knock down vs pelt damage.

Thanks

Default RE: Coyote Loads ???

I would stick to soft points or ballistic tipsjust for the simple fact that they expand. But thats just me. All bullets will do some nasty damage sooner or later depending on where the animal was hit
