Default handheld calls?

Anyone use a small electronic handheld call (i dont have a remote for it)? I just picked one up at cabelas for 40 and was wondering how they are? Im looking to use it tonight....At this time of the season what should i use, cottain tail, fawn in distress or jack rabbit?
Thanks
Mike

Default RE: handheld calls?

I have a cass creek call, and it sucks, it is to quite to call anything in. On a cold night I would go with a cottain tail distress, it is a quick easy meal.
