Best Ammo For A Marlin 925 .22 Mag?

Has anyone tested ammo with the marlin 925 .22 mag? I was wondering what rounds would be best for out to 100 rounds. What Type of load? What Grain Bullet? What Type of bullet some one told me that Ballistic Tips And Hallow Points would work goon at this distance.

I use the Gold Dot in my 892 Marlin and they work great out to 150 yds. on yotes as long as you place the bullet in the right spot. My 893 has a 3x9x42 simmons w/ harris bipod to help hold steady.

if i dont decide to upgrade to something bigger i will be useing my Marlin. I will be taking head shots mostly with a .22 Mag.

Try the CCI 30 grain V-max bullet at 2200 fps. I don't use a .22 mag but I'm totally impressed with the v-max in my .17 HMR.
